My experiences throughout the educational process have helped give me great insight into understanding the needs and expectations of the average student. Throughout my time as a student in college, I always enjoyed working visiting my professors and seeking out their guidance when I needed a little extra assistance. Because I had the privilege of learning from a lot of excellent educators who were willing to go the extra step to ensure that I understood the coursework, I learned just how transformative having a good teacher can be. For this reason, I work hard to get to know my students on an individual basis so that I'm able to better understand how to teach them. By having a good idea of their individual personalities, their weaknesses, and their strengths, I am then able to create customized material that helps them strengthen their existing set of skills while working to overcome their deficiencies. As a teacher, I want to inspire students to become lifelong learners so that they always continue to seek out new information. Education isn't about just teaching pupils how to prepare for tests, it's also about sharing real-world knowledge that they can use outside of the classroom. Ultimately, my goal is to help my students reach their full potential.
