I have been serving as the Dean of Students for the last two and a half years at my current school and simply miss my first passion: teaching. I am not able to return to in-person learning just yet and our school is planning on returning to campus in the coming weeks. I am very excited about being able to work with students in this capacity. I have experience teaching and tutoring students in Grades 3 - 12 in both individual and group settings. Since receiving my Master's Degree, I have taught Earth/Space Science, Environmental Science, Science Research and Marine Biology. I've traveled to and studied the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon Rainforest.

I am excited about being able to differentiate material in ways that are more attainable for all learning styles. Let's break down complicated subjects together and find methods that work for you to better help you understand. Whether we use color-coding, acronyms for memorization, or simply practice, practice, practice, my innate sense of organization and passion for learning will help you find success. Each tutoring session will be nothing less than an efficient use of the student's time. When not geeking out in the classroom, you might find me on my yoga mat, riding my bicycle, or cooking for my family.
