I recently moved to the Stuart area after many years of teaching in NJ. This is my second time living in Florida, as I graduated from UF many years ago and then lived in Miami for 5 years before accepting a job in New York. I worked in advertising, marketing and public relations for quite awhile until I decided to switch careers. I love adolescents - and I love English and especially writing, and wanted to share my interests with kids. So, back to school I went for a Masters in Teaching! I really teaching middle and high schoolers, especially helping them to better express themselves in writing. I'm an avid reader, enjoy yoga, and warm weather! Here's what my teaching supervisor had to say about me: "What she accomplished in the classroom was both effective and exciting; she could make any topic interesting for her students without sacrificing the necessary rigor.
